How can we help?
Our own team answers support mail, in the eight languages InviteTrip speaks. Most questions are answered on this page. If yours is not, write to us. We reply by email.
Contact
By email
Anything about your account, a payment, or a member you need to report. Write from the address on your account and we will find it faster.
In the app
Signed-in members: Help, in the app menu. It opens the Help page on app.invitetrip.com, which is also open to visitors with no account.
The assistant, or a person
The assistant on that page answers in your language at any hour, and its "Talk to a human" button sends the conversation to our inbox. Neither one needs an account, and there is no second form here to fill in instead.
Common questions
The same questions the Help page in the app answers, in the same order.
What is InviteTrip?
InviteTrip is a travel matchmaking and dating platform for adults aged 18 and over. Members meet people to travel with, and everything is built around real travel plans rather than a feed of strangers. It runs in your browser and can be installed on your phone's home screen.
What is the difference between an Inviter and an Invitee?
Every member has one of two roles. An Inviter is the one who organizes and takes the initiative. They may already have a trip planned, or they may be open to planning one with the right person. Either is normal here. An Invitee would like to be invited along. The role changes a few words in the product (an Inviter keeps Travel Plans with real dates, an Invitee keeps a Travel Wishlist) and it decides who can send Roses. The role says nothing about who pays for anything.
Who pays for a trip?
That is decided between the two matched members, exactly like any other date. An Inviter is not expected to pay for anything: the role means somebody is comfortable organizing and taking the initiative, not that they pay. Some members treat the other, others split every cost. Both are normal here. InviteTrip takes no part in that decision or that payment: trip costs go directly to the airline, the hotel or the restaurant, and no money ever moves between members through the platform or around it. Paying for a trip buys a trip. It buys no company, affection, intimacy or obligation of any kind.
Can I be both an Inviter and an Invitee?
Yes, with two accounts: one Inviter account and one Invitee account, each with its own email address, profile and photos. Two accounts under the same role are not allowed. There is no switch to change a role once it is set. If you hold both, you can write to help@invitetrip.com from one of them and we will note that they belong to the same person, so they never appear to each other.
Which languages does InviteTrip support?
English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish and Ukrainian. Change the language with the control at the top of every screen, signed in or not. The choice is saved on the device you are using.
How does Discover decide who I see?
Discover introduces people one at a time, ordered by real alignment: overlapping travel dates first, then how each of you travels (your Travel DNA), then shared interests. On each introduction you can say Interested, Not for me, or Maybe later. Maybe later only moves someone down the list and is never recorded against them.
What happens when I say Not for me?
That person comes off your Discover, your browse results and your lists, and you can no longer open their profile. It works in one direction only: they are never told, nothing changes on their side, and they can still see you. It is not a block. Blocking is the safety action, it is mutual, and it is a separate control. Someone you have said Not for me to can no longer reach you with a free Interested or a message. They can still send you a Rose, and if one arrives you can take the line off your list with the small control beside it.
This happens inside the app, where you need to be signed in. Open InviteTrip.
What are the marks on a profile?
They are Waypoints, five signs of what two people already share. Crossed Paths: an overlapping destination and dates. In Step: the same travel pace. Same Compass: the same travel style. Common Ground: shared interests. Warm Trail: active on InviteTrip in the last two weeks. The more of your own profile you fill in, the more of them light up for others.
What are Roses?
A Rose is a stronger signal than an ordinary Interested, and it is deliberately scarce. Only Inviters can send them. Each plan includes a monthly allowance, shown on the plan cards, and the count goes back up on the first of each month.
Why can I not start a new conversation?
Free plans have a daily limit on reach-outs, meaning the first message in a conversation nobody has spoken in yet. Replies do not count against that limit, so you can always keep talking to the people you are already talking to. An Inviter on the free plan is the one exception: that plan answers rather than writes first, and it has a small daily limit on replies as well. The count resets at midnight UTC. During the Founding Member phase every member holds a paid plan, so nobody is limited today.
Can I chat with someone who speaks another language?
Yes. In any conversation you can switch the whole thread between the original messages and a translation with one tap; the original is never changed and is always one tap away. When you write, you can translate your draft into the other person's language before you send it. Nothing is ever sent automatically: you see and approve what goes out.

What does the Verified mark mean?
The member has proven there is a real person behind the profile. Verification is run by Didit, our identity partner: you take a live photo and photograph a government ID, Didit checks both, and InviteTrip receives only the result. We never store your ID photo or your face scan. It usually takes a few minutes and it is optional, but only verified members can filter for other verified members.
Does InviteTrip run criminal background checks?
No. INVITETRIP DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS ON ITS MEMBERS. INVITETRIP DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ANY MEMBER BEFORE PERMITTING THAT MEMBER TO COMMUNICATE WITH ANY OTHER MEMBER. YOU SHOULD NOT ASSUME THAT ANY MEMBER HAS BEEN SCREENED FOR A CRIMINAL RECORD OF ANY KIND. Identity verification confirms a document and a face; it is not a background check. The full statement is in section 2 of our Safety Center.
What is the Real mark?
It means other members have privately confirmed that they met this person in real life without a safety concern. It is a signal from the community, not a check by InviteTrip, and it is never shown who confirmed it.
How do I report or block someone?
From their profile, from a Discover introduction, or from a specific message, use Report. Choose what fits (harassing behaviour, a misleading profile, or a physical safety concern), add detail, and send. Reports are confidential and the other person is never told who reported them. Block from the same places; it is mutual and immediate. Blocking is not the same as saying Not for me: a block is mutual and closes any conversation, while Not for me works in one direction only.

What should I do if I feel unsafe?
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Then report the member using the physical safety concern category, and write to help@invitetrip.com so a person sees it. Our Safety Center has practical guidance for meeting and traveling with someone new.
Is InviteTrip free?
Right now, yes. We are in the Founding Member phase: no payment method is collected and nobody is charged. Paid plans, Premium and Signature, will be introduced with advance notice, and no existing member will ever be charged without first choosing a paid plan themselves.
How will subscriptions, cancellation and refunds work?
Plans will renew automatically and we will remind you before they do. If you subscribe online you will be able to cancel online, in one step, from your profile, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. In the EU and UK you have 14 days to change your mind after purchase. The full rules, including refunds, are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Will anyone on InviteTrip ask me for money?
They should not, and if they do, report it. No money moves between members on InviteTrip, in any form: no transfers, payment apps, gift cards or crypto. Asking another member for money is a violation whether or not anyone pays, and any exchange of intimacy for money, gifts, travel or accommodation ends an account permanently.
I signed up with Google or Apple and was never asked my role.
The role question is the first screen of profile setup. Open any page in the app and you will be taken there. It is one choice with two options and it cannot be skipped. You do not need a second account for this.

I cannot log in.
Use Forgot password on the login screen and we will email you a reset link. If nothing arrives within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
If you still cannot get in, use "Talk to a human" on the Help page in the app. It works without an account.
Can people see that I looked at their profile?
Yes. When you open someone's full profile, that member can see that you visited, when, and how many times you have visited in total. It works the same way in the other direction: you can see the members who open yours. Discover cards, search results and thumbnails are not profiles and record nothing. We never record a visit to your own profile, a visit either way between you and someone one of you has blocked, or a visit by anyone from InviteTrip. Individual visits are kept for 180 days, and the running total between two people stays while both accounts exist. On Premium and on Signature you can switch on invisible browsing, and your visits are then not shown to the people you open and not counted toward their totals.
This happens inside the app, where you need to be signed in. Open InviteTrip.
How do I pause or delete my account?
To pause, open Profile and choose Take a break. Your profile disappears from Discover and nothing is deleted; you can come back at any time from the same place. To delete your account and personal information, write to help@invitetrip.com from the email address on your account and we will do it for you. There is no self-service delete control yet.
This happens inside the app, where you need to be signed in. Open InviteTrip.
What data do you keep, and where?
Your profile, your messages and your activity on InviteTrip are stored with our hosting providers and described, with retention periods, in our Privacy Policy. Verification images are processed and held by Didit; we receive only the result. You can ask for a copy or deletion of your data at any time by writing to help@invitetrip.com.
How do I turn emails or notifications off?
Open Profile. Under Email, switch off the kind you do not want; every email we send also has an unsubscribe link for that one kind. Under Notifications, turn push on or off for the device you are holding. Messages about your account itself, such as password resets, are always sent.
This happens inside the app, where you need to be signed in. Open InviteTrip.
Membership and billing
What does a membership cost?
Nothing today. InviteTrip is free during the Founding Member phase: no payment method is collected and nobody is charged. Every plan and what it will cost is on our Pricing page.
How do I cancel?
If you subscribe online, you cancel online, in one step, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. The control is on your membership page in the app, which is also where the customer portal opens from. You need to be signed in.
Where are my receipts and invoices?
In the customer portal, together with your plan and your payment method. It opens from your membership page in the app, signed in.
Can I get a refund?
That is decided by the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which covers every case and how to ask for one. We do not summarize it here, because the document is what counts.
Safety
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Then report the member in the app and write to us, so a person sees it.
Our Safety Center has practical guidance for meeting and traveling with someone new, and it states plainly what verification does and does not prove.
What is and is not allowed on InviteTrip is in the Community Guidelines. Reports are confidential, and the person reported is never told who reported them.
